We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again: Saveus loves bloggers.

This week, we were fortunate enough to have some of the gorgeous faces behind online retailer superstar, THE ICONIC, join us for the unveiling of our SS13 range. As the delightful Doone summarised: “It’s bold, it’s bright, it’s me all over. I need it all in my life immediately, if not sooner.” We can’t wait to let you take a piece (or 10) home either, Doone! It was only a matter of time before the Melburnites caught wind of Saveus, and the lovely Sophia of Everyday Like This is spreading the fever. SS13 unveiled.

You’ll have to excuse our brief blogging hiatus; we’ve had some major things cooking!

This morning dawned dark and gloomy, but team Saveus couldn’t help feeling upbeat after the success of last night’s media preview of the SS13 collection, “On Hiatus.” The mouth-wateringly exotic aroma of falafels permeated the Showcase space, as designers, stylists and fashionistas gathered for the unveiling of Saveus’s next hyper-coloured instalment. As guests rifled lustily through the racks, the celebratory “chink” of champagne glasses reminded us just how far we’ve come. Drawing on the vibrancy of the bustling souqs and balmy nightlife of Marrakesh, the fast approaching SS collection looks set to be yet another resounding success. Any excuse to continue wrapping up our evenings with piping hot coffee and walnut-stuffed Medjool dates!

A month with Saveus

Following the Saveus Prism’s extended residency and resounding success at the 100 Squared emerging designers pop-up space, Saveus is proud to announce it will be continuing its partnership with Westfield City, by opening a pop up store in the flagship centre.

“A month with Saveus: The Autumn/Winter Showcase” will provide Saveus with a fantastic platform to present it’s stunning A/W collection, and the team is extremely excited to have a continued retail presence in Sydney’s fashion hub.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Westfield has acknowledged our product and hard work for the months we’ve been here already. To be placed among such esteemed company, is such a privilege,” Saveus Art Director Jarred Baker said.

Officially opening on Wednesday, May 16, the store is situated on Level 4 of the complex and also home to high profile Australian labels including Sass & Bide, Zimmermann, Ginger & Smart and Ksubi.

“They say you need to surround yourself with those you aspire to be like, and we hope being here helps to further cement our place and presence in the Australian fashion industry,” Saveus Creative Director, Karima Hazim said.

Saveus Loves Grazia.

And by the looks of things, Grazia loves the Saveus Empire Cape.

In this week’s issue, our striking two-tone Empire Cape dominates in a ’90s minimalism inspired feature. A few short weeks ago, it was the Empire Cape’s red counterpart that set tongues wagging, rounding out Grazia’s winter “Hot List.”

In the words of Team Grazia, “we’ve been on the lookout for a cape since we clocked Diane Kruger rocking one as a dress. Enter this statement-chic find.”

Put otherwise, this season, you can’t escape the cape!

T is for Tuesday.

But K is for Kani. No number of superlatives can quite seem to capture the picture-perfect sweetness that is Connie Cao – better known as Kani. The Melbourne fashion blogger stole our hearts at the recent FELLT popup party, and has continued to woo team Saveus with her impeccable blend of vintage and modern styling.

Amidst the fast-paced frenzy of MBFWA, US Harper’s BAZAAR spotted this beauty sporting none other than the Saveus Dalliance Puff Skirt. Connie incorporates her signature vintage edge by offsetting the skirt’s vampy red with a floral print blouse and classic gold accessories.
