Tuesday gossip.

Just when you think you’re all set to take autumn in your stride, a day like today pops up to (quite literally) rain on your parade.

Fear not; the team over at THE ICONIC have things covered on this dismal Tuesday morning. If you haven’t already subscribed to their newsletter, then here’s a taste of what you’re missing:

You spotted it; that’s the Saveus Gossip Vest sitting pretty in the number one spot on the winter wishlist! If the fashion savvy folks at THE ICONIC are lusting after it, then you know it’s worth having. Snap it up here before it becomes another sell-out.

Keep on top of this season’s hottest trends by signing up to receive newsletters from our favourite online retailers: The Grand Social and THE ICONIC.

Fashion.Music.Culture.

We’re just a little bit chuffed to be ringing in the new week on such a high note. After months of anticipation, Fashion.Music.Culture. has landed. Not only does this impressive new publication feature the holy trinity – fashion, music and culture (duh!) – but its debut issue shines a spotlight on our very own Saveus duo, Jarred Baker and Karima Hazim.

Packed with in-depth interviews, fashion, and even a definitive list of what’s on in the world of art, FMC is already making ripples. With their first issue focusing on “The Minimalist,” it’s no surprise that Saveus shines in an urban-feel editorial spread. Read on, and you’ll be given an insight into the evolution and forward momentum of Saveus in a candid interview with our designers. If you’ve been pondering what’s next, or how that name originated, then here‘s your chance to find out!

We urge you to keep an eye on this mag – we’re already hanging out for the next issue. Keep up to date by “liking” them on Facebook…after you’ve “liked” Saveus, of course.

A rousing response.

Saveus shines in yet another press piece, this time from the Rouse Hill Times. As always, we commend the astute editorial team for recognising – and backing – their local talent. They may draw inspiration from the boundless sights and sounds of global culture, but our creative duo are forever Sydneysiders at heart. Make no mistake, this won’t be the last time you spot a glowing write-up on the brains behind Saveus, Jarred Baker and Karima Hazim.

Let’s not forget the Easter long weekend’s biggest news – our generous gifting of that cape. A huge congratulations to Maya Ivanovic, the proud new owner of the incomparable two-tone Empire Cape. Your winter promises to be steeped in style now that you can step out with this beauty resting comfortably on your shoulders.

Don’t be too downhearted if you missed out this time. Simply ‘like’ and share Saveus on Facebook to keep our family growing. Love Saveus, and we’ll love you right back.

Another Monday, another raft of sassy bloggers bustin’ out in Saveus.

First cab off the ranks this week is the up-and-coming Sydney blog with a penchant for all things shoes, Zapatos. Our sell-out success, the Dalliance Puff Skirt, is the star of this shot, though we’ll allow props to the girls at Zapatos for their spot-on styling. Keep an eye on these fashionistas; we reckon they’ve got the right foot forward.

The divine Mollie of Allaboutedie acclaim is no stranger to the Saveus collection. Last week, she showed us how to work the Delta Maxi Dress for one of those (dwindling) autumn days. Pair it with our favourite Rebel Scooter Crop jacket for some added warmth.

Still on the hunt for the perfect outfit to carry you through this Easter long-weekend? Get shopping at The Grand Social, THE ICONIC or the Saveus Prism.

Just keeps on comin’

There’s been so much love of late, that we’re having trouble keeping up! The talented Nusardel Oshana of Mint Maison fame dropped by the Saveus Prism over the weekend, with his camera in tow. Here‘s what he had to say about his (long overdue) visit.

With the continued support of bloggers like you, Nusardel, who knows – the dream of ‘Saveus Man’ may just transpire.

It feels a little self-reflexive extolling the virtues of blogging in a blog post…but what can we say – we love bloggers!

We’ve been feeling pretty loved up of late, and it’s all thanks our dear friends throughout the blogosphere. Our spectacular launch at The Saveus Prism has got tongues wagging, Twitter tweeting (#saveusprism!) and blogs buzzing.

The ever-luminous Margaret Zhang of Shine By Three has set the bar high with her latest post – let’s hope it’s the first of many!

Take a look at what some of these other well-dressed wordsmiths have to say about the new collection. Keep ’em coming, guys!

Oh hey, Girlfriend!

This dismal weather reminds us all that winter is well on its way. This season, we’ll be taking the lead from the young guns at Girlfriend magazine, and layering up. See how they’ve worked our gorgeous Mustard Bell Blouse in their latest issue.

There’s nothing quite like a pop of colour to brighten up your afternoon!

Scene to be believed.

Stop the press! We were all stitched up when we saw this sweet little write-up by the Strathfield Scene newspaper. It’s great to see media outlets supporting their local talent, especially when they’re right on the money – Saveus sure is “set to take the Australian fashion world by storm.”

Our Creative Director, Karima, looks red hot in that Saveus Dalliance Puff Skirt, look how it is making Jarred blush!

Press: Saveus partners with THE ICONIC and The Grand Social for debut collection launch

New Australian womenswear label Saveus is proud to announce it’s first local stockists for the debut “Everything, Nothing” collection due out in early 2012.

Prominent Australian online retail stores, THEICONIC.com.au and thegrandsocial.com.au will be stocking Saveus from early next year, with both retailers eager to sign on before the end of 2011.

“We are extremely excited about the pending launch of Saveus to the Australian public, especially when we’ve received such great feedback from our new stockists,” Saveus Art Director, Jarred Baker said.

“THEICONIC.com.au and The Grand Social are such great platforms for our brand and we’re grateful for their early support because we’re confident in what we have created,” he added.

Saveus will also be fulfilling expressions of interest direct to the public through it’s own online website (www.saveus.com.au) from early 2012.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The Everything, Nothing collection is inspired by the bustling Southeast Asian nation of Vietnam, a cultural melting pot and trading centre motivated by core values of respect, knowledge and history.

The traditional Vietnamese value of achieving harmony between the self and the non-self resonated with Saveus’ Sydney-based Art Director Jarred Baker and Creative Director Karima Hazim, who strived to create an effortlessly chic collection that melds seamlessly with the wearer.

The collection’s strong tailoring and meticulous attention to detail was further enhanced by the Vietnamese inspiration tour. Collaboration with highly skilled and experienced tailors and seamstresses revealed a similar passion for quality that transcended language barriers.

Defined by high quality workmanship, strong tailoring and luxe fabrics, Saveus collections are designed to function as a complete wardrobe, while presenting standout individual pieces; a reflection of the modern, multi dimensional woman.
